Plastican has the ability to run our containers using any of the four plastic types listed above to produce a container that meets your specific performance requirements. 5-gallon Lightweight Container

• Lightweight but strong due to Plastican’s proprietary resin blending technology

The 40BL, 5 gallon container is Plastican’s newest addition to our family of high performance lighter weight packages. It is designed for both consumer and industrial applications. The 40BL combines excellent compression and impact properties with high retail scorecard values making it ideal for a broad array of packaging solutions. The 40BL with a newly designed lightweight consumer friendly cover is available in either HDPE or polypropylene with or without recycled content.

4.25-gallon Rectangular Container

• 10% better than a standard 4.25 gallon square in efficient use of plastic (Weight of plastic packaging per gallon storage)
• 20% better cube efficiency than a round pail of the same capacity

The 36BR, 4.25 gallon container is a great example of Plastican’s materials and design capabilities translating into superior customer value. In the retail pet food market, the 36BR with an easy to use hinged cover has helped our customers to grow their business. In the bakery and frozen fruit processing markets, the 36BR with a consumer friendly tear strip cover has satisfied both the manufacturing requirements of our customers while providing a performance reliable, convenient package for use in restaurants and food service environments.

2.5-gallon Lightweight Container

The 20BN, 2.5 gallon, lightweight container and cover options, have been designed specifically for consumer, institutional and Do It Yourself retail products. From wet wipes to food to cleaning compounds to pet treats, the 20BN has established itself as a package of choice for retail product suppliers.

Operation Clean Sweep

Plastican has taken the pledge and is now an official Operation Clean Sweep partner. This is an environmental initiative to prevent the loss of resin pellets into the environment.

As part of Operation Clean Sweep Plastican pledges to strive toward zero pellet loss and make changes wherever possible and practical to:

• Improve our worksite set-up to prevent and address spills;
• Create and publish internal procedures to achieve zero pellet loss goals;
• Provide employee training and accountability for spill prevention, containment, cleanup, and disposal;
• Audit our performance regularly; and
• Comply with all applicable state and local regulations governing pellet containment.
