• A commitment to the environment and sustainability should be second to none. We have introduced newer lighter-weight products that use a high percentage of post consumer recycled material and deliver consistent, reliable performance. Our containers provide the highest level of performance that you expect from a Plastican product while scoring high on the newly developed environmental sustainability scorecards.
  
• Plastican must stay abreast of all regulatory issues that affect our industry and yours such as recycling initiatives, source reduction, and consumer product safety issues.

Operation Clean Sweep

Plastican has taken the pledge and is now an official Operation Clean Sweep partner. This is an environmental initiative to prevent the loss of resin pellets into the environment.

As part of Operation Clean Sweep Plastican pledges to strive toward zero pellet loss and make changes wherever possible and practical to:

• Improve our worksite set-up to prevent and address spills;
  
• Create and publish internal procedures to achieve zero pellet loss goals;
  
• Provide employee training and accountability for spill prevention, containment, cleanup, and disposal;
  
• Audit our performance regularly; and
  

• Comply with all applicable state and local regulations governing pellet containment.
